Spree Picky: Disney Suspender Skirt/Kawaii Socks Review

Hello hello~!! ^-^
So as you can see, I am terrible at blogging, haha ^^' But I won't go into a long schpiel about it - instead, I will tell you why I suddenly have risen from the dead~!

Okay so this is a sponsored package from spreepicky on Storenvy!

So this is a picture of what I found inside the package~! This was a sponsored package so I chose their adorable Disney suspender skirt and a pair of frilly, pink, over the knee socks! Everything was neatly packaged and with no damage present~

Inside they enclosed an adorable card wishing me a happy birthday (my birthday is October 6th ^-^) so this was my very first birthday gift this year!!

It was entirely handwritten by Susan and was an incredibly adorable surprise!~ The note was deadly cute and the Spreepicky team is incredibly sweet and are such friendly and kindhearted people~

So this is what the suspender skirt looked like inside the package~ It was neatly folded and carefully sealed inside the package!

Here is the suspender skirt!! This is by far one of the cutest and comfiest items I've ever received from Spree Picky! It is made from a light-weight denim material, like an apron but has a snug feel to it~! The skirt has two buttons on each shoulder strap with two adjustment slips for the buttons - so you can either have two buttons on each shoulder for the regular fit, or one button on each shoulder for a more snug fit~! 

Here is the back of the skirt~!! So as you can see, the skirt has pockets and-- NOPE! Here's a secret... those flaps are legit, just flaps. Dem Spreepicky tricksters~ ;} It gives you the illusion of having pockets so if a pickpocketer tries pickpocketing you, they will be sadly disappointed and you will have Spree Picky to thank~! ;D *wink wonk wonka donk*

So here is the apron on!! I'm a women's size medium and I'm 5'9" and the apron ended just above my knees which is a very suitable length (not peeping small nor lightpost long) and though it was a snug fit, it did give me lots of space on my upper body! What I like about this article is the space where it's snug factor is highest is around the hip/waist area, thus hiding my oddly shaped hips! ^-^

This is a cute little print on the back of the apron that I wanted to share because why flubbing not?! Look at how adorable that is!!

Overall, this skirt has a suuuper comfortable fit and I seriously have no complaints~! This is a definite must-buy for all you Disney fanatics out there (especially if you're thinking of heading down to a Disney park~!)

Now for the socks review~!! ^.^

This is what the socks looked like when I pulled them out of the package! These as well came safely and neatly packaged!

Here is what the socks look like on! These are the comfiest socks that I now own and lucky for me had a small elastic at the top, thus ensuring that the socks won't slip down your legs!! *praising* These socks are made out of a super cozy cotton material and has cute little silk bows sewed onto the sides of the socks~ They also have a thin layer of frilly lace at the top which is a detail I LOVELOVELOVE~!!

I have the same issue that my waifu does (which brings us even closer ;D) where I'm freakishly tall and every pair of stockings/knee high socks that I own don't fulfill their role and stay above my knees so thank the gods that this pair does!!

Here we are going into detail~!

So as you can see, they are in fact more of a rosy pink colour in actuality (curse you, wavering lighting! *^*) and both socks have one bow on the outer side of each! The lace is super cute and strong and the socks themselves are stretchy to securely fit onto your legs~

And here's the back of the socks~!

The back has nothing special on it but I admire that because this way you have a pair of more calming lolita socks~!

They also included their business card (I now have three or four of these >w<) which I find SERIOUSLY adorable!!

...As well as the free gift that they always throw in~!! I've gotten a necklace each time and I love that so much because necklaces are my favourite piece of jewelry~~ *-*

And I believe they give you something different each time~ (I've received a different necklace each time~ ^w^)

Overall, I am incredibly happy with this Spree Picky package~!! I honestly have no complaints~ As usual their service was fast and easy (they include free shipping~) and as always they were very sweet!

Room Reno~!

Hey guys~! I hope you're doing well~

So I'm really bad at blogging if you haven't noticed (heh heh) but May long is next week and a large shipment of eBay and Spreepicky came in so I'll be posting about that soon~!

So now that I live with my mom full-time (oh, Happy Mother's Day by the way~!♥) I decided to do a huge renovation on my room since it expressed ten year old me and I felt like a big kid giant in my bed, haha, so I literally changed EVERYTHING about my room - now it looks like a pastel/anime/cosplay/lolita/vintage paradise~!

I basically went Ikea crazy and now I need to get a job to get some money, haha XD All I need now is a full body mirror for OOTDs~ *wiggles*

My room looks VERY different from the picture above and more jam-packed now because I got my cosplay/anime stuff after taking these pictures but it's still super cozy~♥

Okee I'm going to go spend time with my mommy, see you guys later~!

So today is the amazing Mr. Walt Disney's birthday~!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY WALT!! If you haven't wished him a happy birthday yet, please do<3 I'm sure he's having a wonderful time in Disneyland Heaven~

Walt is my hero. Walt taught us that if you can dream it, you can do it. He always followed his dreams and strived to create a place of excitement and joy for families to enjoy<3 If it weren't for Walt, my life wouldn't have nearly been as exciting and lively as it is now becuase of the long line of characters under his name.

Walt, you're an ongoing legacy, and you will forever live on in our hearts<3

So to celebrate my love for Disney and to celebrate Walt's birthday,

Soap, I thought I should give a small update on things and whatnot. I apologize if you find this boring, but yeah^^

I saw Frozen~!!!

Heyaaa guys~! I hope you're all having a good day:)

So last week I took a short trip to Edmonton to WEM and I got to see Frozen, the new Disney animated movie that presents Disney's two newest princesses, Anna and Elsa.

Now, I'm pretty sure I don't have to explain much just because EVERYONE knows about this movie but I'd just like to talk about it because it's my current obsession<3

 

WARNING: There is a possibility that I might give a spoiler so if you don't like spoilers, don't read the paragraph below;)

Okay so first off I love the fact that this movie totally bypassed the whole 'true love is shared with prince charming' and that the true love that saved Anna was the sister love shared with Elsa<3 Cutest. Thing. Ever. 
I instantly thought of Tomo and I when watching this movie because our true love is the sister love that we both share too, so I felt very familiar to the two girls<3

This movie also made me realize that sisters don't have to be exactly alike or have everything in common to have a strong sister bond. Again, I thought of Tomo and I. We do share a lot of common traits (e.g. our sisterhood, the fact that we apparently look alike, our love for Japanese pop culture, we both love drawing, etc.,) but then Tomo has her individual likes (visual kei, gothic lolita, murder animes) and I have mine (Disney, AoT, fairy kei) and we're both the best of friends<3 

I also noticed that Anna and I are 97% the same person. We share very similar traits and we both love our sisters more than anything in the whole world<3 Anna's really special to me because of this, so she has become my dream cosplay (Petra from AoT is a close second)-;-

Okay, that is all~ If you haven't seen Frozen yet, please do. It's a truly magical movie<3
